Top two teams qualify for the Second Round
- If Chile beat Spain and the Swiss down Honduras, Chile will go through in first place and Switzerland in second.
- If Chile beat Spain and Honduras beat Switzerland, Chile will take top spot and goal difference will decide which of the other three teams takes second place.
- If Chile beat Spain and Honduras draw with Switzerland, Chile will finish first and the Swiss second.
- If Spain beat Chile and Honduras beat Switzerland, Spain will finish first on goal difference from the second-placed Chileans.
- If Spain beat Chile and Switzerland defeat Honduras, Spain will qualify ahead of Chile. Switzerland could still overtake Spain and/or Chile depending on goal difference.
- If Spain beat Chile and Switzerland draw with Honduras then Spain and Chile will qualify in first and second respectively.
- If Spain draw with Chile and Switzerland beat Honduras, Chile will finish top and Switzerland second.
- If Spain draw with Chile and Honduras beat Switzerland, Chile will finish first and Spain second.
- If both games end in draws, Chile will finish first and Spain second.
