Ellis Park Stadium (GMT+3 5pm).

Slovenia struck the US net twice before half time, seeming to be the side that would have escaped the park with three points. The two goals came at 13' from Valter Birsa and Zlatan Ljubijankic 42'. It was after the halt time period that US came on at 48' to pull one back via Landon Donovan and the equalizer at 82' from the coach's son Michael Bradley. Maurice Edu almost sealed a victory for the Obama boys, but the ref seemed to disagree and off siding a 'clean goal'. Final score 2-2, with US proving that 'YES THEY CAN'
