The game started at the fastest momentum ever although some physical was witnessed. All hell broke lose on the Italian side when a corner kick saw Alcaraz head in to give paraguay the lead. The game goes on and it was until after the half time mark when Azzuri got the equalizer, Italy returned more keen on getting the equalizer goal which they did io the 63' minute via Derossi header from a corner kick. Italy tried to prove why they are the defending champions but failed the game ending with a one all draw. Well, a heading affair if you ask me.
